Karma

Karma is derived from a Sanskrit word karma which means our actions.

Karma means energy which goes out from me.

Right from childhood each and every one of us has been playing with a ball. The ball which is thrown upwards will definitely come downward. This indicates that what goes around will definitely come around. This is the energy, which gives us a wonderful message that if you have ever done good to someone in return you will definitely receive good and if done bad to someone then don’t even think that you will return good. Karma simply means the action of our body, our language/ speech (the way we communicate), and the thinking in our powerful mind.

Our actions, our speech and our thinking process should be as pure as lord. It should be free from affection, hatred, irate, judgement, greed etc. It shouldn’t ever dependent on other people behaviour. It should be done in the remembrance of the lord. It’s has been rightly said that ”As you sow so shall you reap”. It means that what you have sown that will be obtained. If you sow rice seed then you will get rice grains, it won’t give you wheat grains. The way you treat people the same treatment will be given to you. Your actions should be good. It’s should be independent. But unfortunately, when people are doing their actions they are thinking about the results (the fruit) that they will receive from that karma. Do you think is it right to do so? Well, accordingly it’s been instructed in Bhagavad Gita that ”Karm kar phal ki chinta mat kar”, it means that your actions shouldn’t depend on the results. Neither the present action should depend on past results, and not even on the future result. You are what your deep, driving desire is. As your desire is, so is your will. As your will is, so is your deed/Karma. As your deed /Karma is, so is your destiny.

Do you know that our actions, when done with the remembrance of the Lords, consciousness become best? A person in Krishna consciousness will always work with his name in mind and lips will doing every deed which leads to destiny. He will always keep lord first in every work he does. He will work with all his might and heart but will never think about the fruitful outcome and will never condemn any person not lord for the result. He always remembers what happened was good, what happening is better and what will happen will be the best.

Live your every moment with all karmic accounts settled. Every moment without hatred, judgement, anger, etc. Live it with peace, forgiveness, and love. If we perform our karma with Lord’s name in every heartbeat and every breath then that karma for sure will be worth doing and will give us a lot of satisfaction. Actually, it’s been written and told by the Lord that our karma is our deeds which involves the process which decided our next birth. It decided which form of life we will get in next birth. With this, it leads to the conclusion that every karma has an effect on us. And these karmas of yours is beneficial to you not to others. No one else can have the benefit of your deeds. Karmas never die even when we leave this materialistic world it is with the immortal soul.

Remember,

Nothing happens by chance or by luck you create your luck by your own actions, deeds.
